May I suggest what we all grew to love, namely the Parker’s Piece Sports Ground on City Road where there was a lovely 1920 era Sports Pavilion. I also remember there used to be the Derby Rowing Clubhouse. Is that still there or has it been moved. It’s many, many years since I visited Derby?
