About The Society
Keeping our members connected
Our Story
The Old Derbeian Society is made up of former pupils of the old Derby School (at St Helen’s House, Moorway Lane, Amber Valley and Overton Hall) and Derby Grammar School.
The Society aims to:
- to keep Old Derbeians in touch with one another and with the present school;
- to organise social events and sporting fixtures;
- to foster memory of the old Derby School and support the new Derby Grammar School, also to further the interests of the Schools past and present members.
Take a look through the website for access to the Society archives including photos, newsletters and a brief history of Derby School.
Old Derbeian’s can get in touch with old schoolmates using the newly added database within the members’ only area. Members’ who have provided the society with an email address should have received the password; if you would like access to these features please get in touch.
We are currently working on improving the site including adding photos, updating the archives and including event details. Moving forward the Society also intends to improve our social media presence, links to which can be found in the header and footer of each page.
Get in touch with the Society with any ideas you might have for events, content you want to see on this site or old photos we can add to the collection. Even better – why not join the committee and help run the society? Email us at oldderbians@gmail.com.
