It is with great sadness and shock that I report the sudden passing of Barrie Sheard, our archivist. Barrie passed away on Wednesday 22nd January 2020 at Royal Derby Hospital. Further details will be posted when known. Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

It is with deep gratitude, love and sadness we announce the passing of our dad and best friend, J Barrie Sheard.
His life journey came to a sudden AND peaceful end on 22nd January 2020. He reached the grand old age of 85.
He lived and loved life so well, sharing love, joy and optimism with so many. His shining presence will remain forever bright here and beyond.
We will be holding a farewell gathering locally in Derbyshire this next week for all his family and friends to come together in celebration of his life. We will let you know soon when and where.
We will be creating a space for photos and words, (if you could look out a photo of you together with him and bring with please.)
